Malaria to kill 300,000 more people if critical funding not received

26 September 2024 (New York) – Ahead of the Global Fund Replenishment next year, Heads of State and Government gathering at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) warned that funding for malaria must be increased to prevent the number of cases and deaths rising.

2 September, 2024 - The RBM Partnership to End Malaria welcomed the nomination of Dr Faustine Engelbert Ndugulile as the next Regional Director for the World Health Organization (WHO) African Region and congratulated him upon being the next to take on this important mantle.

BRAZZAVILLE – Le paludisme maintient les familles africaines dans une situation de pauvreté tout en mettant à rude épreuve les systèmes de santé et en aggravant les vulnérabilités existantes telles que les déplacements de population et les inégalités entre les genres, a averti le Partenariat RBM pour en finir avec le paludisme. Le Partenariat RBM est une entité hébergée par les Nations Unies, qui regroupe plus de 500 partenaires qui œuvrent à l’élimination du paludisme.

The RBM Partnership to End Malaria Launches Youth Workstream to Empower the Next Generation in Malaria Elimination

12th of August of 2024 – The RBM Partnership to End Malaria has announced the launch of its Youth Workstream, an initiative aimed at coordinating the global youth response to malaria by collaborating with partners to amplify young people’s voices and equipping them with the tools, resources, and platforms needed to make a significant impact in the fight to end malaria.
