On October 15, young health advocates and global leaders in malaria convened at an Intergenerational Roundtable, co-hosted by the RBM Partnership to End Malaria and the Global Fund on the sidelines of the World Health Summit in Berlin. The energy in the room was palpable as youth representatives from the RBM Youth Workstream, the Global Fund Youth Council, and the ONE Campaign shared their visions, calling for increased youth engagement in malaria elimination efforts. Each young leader spoke to their own grassroots efforts in advocacy, research, and policy, emphasizing the need for youth representation in leadership and targeted support for youth-driven health initiatives. As the event progressed, Peter Sands, CEO of the Global Fund, and Dr. Michael Charles, CEO of the RBM Partnership, responded with reflections on the critical role of youth voices and the importance of mentorship to bridge generational divides in health advocacy.

The session underscored a shared commitment to advancing the malaria fight, from shaping health data policies to fostering sustained partnerships and investments that include and empower youth.
