Join the RBM Social and Behavior Change (SBC) Working Group for a webinar this Thursday on the new Malaria SBC Program Guidance in the Context of COVID-19.
During this webinar, the authors provide an overview of the new guidance, highlighting key areas for program implementers to consider. Following this introduction, participants will be invited to share their own experiences working in malaria SBC in the context of COVID-19.

In particular, we ask that audience members join the webinar ready to contribute to the following themes:
1. How are national and sub-national policies and guidance related to COVID-19 affecting:

SBC implementation activities (e.g., restrictions on mass gatherings)
-
the uptake of malaria-related behaviors (e.g., policy changes around service delivery)
2. What are some examples of successes you have had in adapting malaria SBC implementation activities in the COVID-19 context?
3. How can the RBM SBC Working group provide additional resources and support?

Malaria SBC Program Guidance
This document complements the guidance from the WHO on tailoring malaria interventions in the COVID-19 response, with corresponding SBC recommendations for key behaviors related to insecticide-treated nets, indoor residual spraying, seasonal malaria chemoprevention, case management, and malaria in pregnancy. The SBC guidance also includes information on channel selection, stigma, rapid assessment tools, and innovative/alternative activities.
